Google is Developing a New Operating System – Fuchsia O

Google is among some of the biggest names when it comes to the markets of technology. The company has not restricted itself and has given the markets a multi-dimensional approach. Google has believed in constant expansion, and is working hard towards changing the markets as we know them to be. In this attempt of theirs, the company is now on their way to build a new Operating System – Fuchsia OS.
Google, over the years has designed a number of Operating Systems, and all of them are Linux based. However, now, the company is planning to bring forward a bigger change. There are certain situations where it is not as comfortable for them to be using the Linux-based Operating Systems. In situations such as car dashboards, these kernels tend to not work as well as intended. This is where the Fuchsia OS kicks in.
Google has given a description about this upcoming Operating System of theirs on their GitHub page. They have simply mentioned: “Pink + Purple == Fuchsia (a new Operating System)”. However, as you start looking into the documentation, things become clearer. This upcoming Operating System would work on Magenta Kernels.  The Magenta Kernels have a large number of scales of operation ranging from embedded devices to full-blown desktop Operating Systems, everything is possible. It is based on the LittleKernel project.
In terms of User Interface, Google will be using the help of ‘Flutter’. Their primary programming language would be ‘Dart’. The company would be using ‘Escher’ for rendering purposes – these three combined are expected to give the Fuchsia OS a fresh breath of air and would certainly make it a visual delight. It supports 32-bit and 64-bit ARM CPUs, as well as 64-bit PCs. Google’s Travis Geiselbrecht has also commented it would be available or the Raspberry Pi 3 soon.
The possibilities with this OS are endless. However it is very unlikely that Google will have it as a replacement for Android. It is also unlikely that it might someday act as a Windows competitor. Of what it seems to be, it looks like Google is making it as their secondary OS. This is the kind of treatment Samsung gives to Tizen OS. It is possible that the Fuchsia OS is being made only for the light-weight devices. More details will be known over the months to follow.
